French writer. Gaudé studied theatre and wrote many dramatic works. His first theatre play: Combat de possédés in 1999, was played in the Royal National Theatre of London.
In 2002 he was on the shortlist of the Prix Goncourt for his novel La Mort du roi Tsangor, two years later he won de prize for his novel Le Soleil des Scorta.
