Biography
Italian bank robber whose attempted crime was so inept that it became a farce. He had a criminal record for extortion, drug abuse, driving tickets and minor theft when he and a partner entered a bank on 12/29/1997. They took the manager and employees hostage for two days. While there they snorted coke and argued about how to get the manager to give him money, which the manager refused. Gargano's partner fled and frustrated, Gargano let the hostages go and was arrested.
