Biography
Scottish-Canadian jazz clarinetist and saxophone player. Emigrating to Canada in the mid-1960s, he is the founder of the ensemble named Wee Big Band. He has been artistic director of the Toronto Jazz Festival since 1987. In 2002 he was made a Chevalier of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
