Biography
American race champion, the land speed champ in 1970 with 622 mph clocked on the Utah Salt Flats. He clocked 200 mph in a hydrodrag boat in 1969. In early 1972 he had a speed accident in which his left hand was nearly severed and his left leg shattered badly.
