Source Notes

Frank C. Clifford quotes Caroline Gerard for B.C., British Entertainers, 1997. The date of birth, practically illegible on the BC, was incorrectly presented in prior Scottish Birth Data as February 15 and given as such in Steinbrecher's Collection. Clifford confirms the 16th Feb.
