Biography

American writer, often ranked as the leading American poet of his generation. He won the Pulitzer Prize four times: in 1924, 1931, 1937 and 1943. His works include "A Boy's Will," 1913, "New Hampshire," 1923 and "Steeple Bush" 1974. Frost achieved and sustained the status of a cultural icon in his lifetime.

His first book was published when he was thirty-two, beforehand supporting himself by teaching and farming.

Frost died on 1/29/1963, Boston, MA.
