Biography
German actor, best-known for his role as the villain Auric Goldfinger in the James Bond classic "Goldfinger". An early membership in the Nazi party led to the movie being banned in Israel, until the family of two Jews Fröbe had sheltered from the Gestapo during the war came forward to thank him.
He died of a heart attack in Munich, German on 5 September 1988.
