Biography
American soccer star, who joined the National Women's Team at age 16. In 1996 she was captain of the US team in the Olympics that captured a gold medal, the first for US women's soccer. At the Olympics four years later, her team took home a silver.
Foudy has a degree in biology from Stanford University. Her playing days behind her, she gives motivational speeches, serves as an analyst for soccer events for media outlets and runs a soccer camp for girls.
