Biography
Australian infanticide, murdered by his mother, Kathleen Folbigg.The first-born of Folbigg's four children, Caleb was smothered to death on February 20, 1989 in Newcastle. She reportedly found him dead in his crib at 2:50 AM the next morning. His mother claimed that her children died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). On May 21, 2001, she was found guilty of three counts of murder and one of manslaughter (in Caleb's death). All of the deaths were from smothering and they took place over a 10-year period: eight-month-old Patrick in 1991, 11-month-old Sarah in 1993 and 19-month-old Laura in 1999.
