Biography
French military, the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in March of 1918.
From a family of soldiers, he became a lieutenant at age 19. During the battle of Marne, Foch sent the famous telegram, "My left yields, my right is broken through; situation excellent; I attack."
Foch died on 3/20/1929, Paris, France.
