Australian actress on both stage and film, including TV shows and movies. In 1983 she became a commentator for cricket matches and has since then written newspaper columns. She gave birth to a son in 1990 and published her memoir in 2004.
- Work : Published/ Exhibited/ Released 2004 (Memoir)
- Family : Change in family responsibilities 1990
Sy Scholfield quotes autobiography, "Name Dropping: An Incomplete Memoir"
(Sydney: HarperCollins, 2004), p. 1, where she states she was born at
"midnight." Date and place confirmed by her birth notice in the "West
Australian" newspaper (2 October 1947, p. 1): "FITZPATRICK (nee Baillieu). -
On October 1, at Tresillian, to Dawn, wife of Brian Fitzpatrick - a daughter
(Kerry Kathleen)." NB. As the birth notice appears in the early morning
"First Edition" of the newspaper the day after she was born she must have
been born at midnight just into the first of October. I checked the phone
book and Tresillian Hospital is in the Perth suburb of Nedlands.
