Biography

American writer with more than 40 published books of poems and plays. A large Selected Anthology was released in 2002 in The American Discovery Series of the University of Illinois. Ferrini's works are listed in the Encyclopedia of American Literature of the Sea and Great Lakes. His autobiography, "Hermit of the Clouds" 1988, was also published in Japanese and his poetry is included in major anthologies.

Ferrini has been a picture frame maker for 25 years as well as working in General Electric and teaching with the WPA. He is the father of three children (one deceased).
