Biography
Scottish arranger, songwriter, bandleader and jazz trumpeter. Fairweather began a musical partnership with architect-musician Sandy Brown from 1941. In London from 1954, the Fairweather-Brown All-Stars performed until the mid-sixties at which time the band dismembered.
Fairweather had a heart attack in 1983; he later died 6/21/1993.
