Biography
British musician and composer, joined the group Roxy Music as a tech advisor in January 1971, later assuming a more substantial role in the look and direction of the group. Eno, an androgynous computer whiz, clashed with group leader Bryan Ferry, ending his tenure on 6/21/1973. Doing solo projects, he became a sought-after producer working with various bands, including two best-selling U2 albums, "The Unforgettable Fire," October 1984 and "The Joshua Tree," 1987. His younger brother is pianist Roger Eno.
