Biography
American newspaper coulumnist and writer, he married Helen McElwee in December 1997. He graduated from Brown University, Providence, and served in the U.S.
Army. For many years he was the bureau chief of the Putnam Office of the Telegram & Gazette, Worcester, MA. His first novel, published under the name of Bernie A. Dupont, is entitled "A Wilderness of Stars" (2000).
