Biography
American tap dancer, who joined the Lawrence Welk Show in 1964, the first African-American to be a full-time entertainer on the show. Duncan started out to be a pharmacist but his dancing skills landed him gigs in night clubs and TV shows. He stayed with the Lawrence Welk Show, a favorite with his smooth and agile tap-dance numbers, sometimes singing as well.
