Biography
Italian entrepreneur, one of three brothers who founded the Ducati motorcycle company in Ispra, Italy. After WW II, the company patented a "micro-engine," attached it to a bicycle frame and created the Cucciolo (Puppy), one of the first Italian motorbikes, eventually selling hundreds of thousands.
Ducati died the third week of May 2001, age 96.
