Biography
American noted family, the daughter of Star Trek's "Scotty," age 80 and his 43-year-old wife. The couple has two other sons, ages 23 and 21, who were at the hospital to welcome their new sister.
Her father James died on July 20, 2005 at his home in Redmond, WA, age 85. He had battled Alzheimer's disease but died of pneumonia. His New York Times obituary said that "James Doohan was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on March 3, 1920."
