Biography
Scottish actor of stage and screen who made his name when he delivered a stellar performance as King Lear when he was only 22 (1934). Although he was primarily known for his work on stage, he made several movies including the 1950 version of "Treasure Island" and appeared in various television series.
He died January 25, 1987 in Somerset, England.
