Biography
American actress and jazz cabaret singer, she is the daughter of a cinematographer and an actress and younger sister of Emily Deschanel. She became engaged to singer Ben Gibbard in late 2008.
She follows a vegan diet, with no dairy, egg, meat or fish, and she eats no foods containing gluten.
