British author of 14 novels from 1917. She was a fluent speaker, an advocate and member of the Women's Institute Movement and a member of the National Council. Her books include "What is Love?" 1928, "Straw Without Bricks," 1937 and "Late and Soon," 1943. Married 1919 to Arthur P. Cashwood.
