Biography
Dutch journalist who researched the murder of American Natalee Holloway in Aruba.
In 1978, after fulfilling his military service, DeVries landed a job as a newspaper reporter. Stories of crime caught his interest and became his specialty and he was instrumental in investigating several allegations of wrongdoing. He became interested in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba and claimed to know what happened to her, broadcasting a special report on television.

In early 2008 Karen Hamaker-Zondag wrote to PT: In September 2003 a Dutch astrologer, Jan Gieles, made public the birth data of Peter R. de Vries, the Dutch journalist who solved the mystery around the missing Natalee Holloway, and who will be at the show of Larry King Live and also at Oprah.
Gieles did not mention his source, sadly, but maybe the information is still interesting.
