Biography
American artist whose style is decidedly modern. Much of his work featues colorful geometric patterns and isolated common objects such as a single coffee cup. He began his career as a sheet metal mechanic and found his artistic voice at age 22 in 1959.He collaborated with architect Frank Gehry on his Malibu, CA studio.
