Biography

American actor on stage and film; most noted as a TV host. He studied to be a minister, as his dad was, before going on the New York stage. Experienced in variety shows, he became host of "Kraft Music Hall" in 1966. His films include "The Happiest Millionaire." He changed his boy-next-door image when he posed for a nude centerfold in Cosmopolitan magazine, 1974. Married 1969-80.
