Biography
Begian film director and producer who, with his brother Jean-Pierre, has twice won the prestigious"Palme d'Or" at Cannes Festival. He and his brother released their first documentary in 1978 and their first fiction movie in 1986, both featuring the plight of the Jews during WWII. Their 2005 film, "L'Enfant," won their second Palme d'Or; their first recognized their work on "Rosetta" in 1999.
