Biography
Scottish founding member of the cult rock band, Del Amitri, in 1981. After their debut album release in 1985, disputes with the recording label led to a hiatus. The band's followers organized and promoted gigs until they were signed with A&M in 1987. The group's first single to chart was in August 1989.
