Biography

American homicide victim. At age 12, he disappeared 4/15/1972, his body was found strangled with a piece of clothesline and bludgeoned.

A former altar boy, he was one of five boys, all of whom had served the church as altar boys at the mass. Roman Catholic priest Richard Lavigne was suspected but not charged.

The case was reopened 20 years later when Lavigne was charged with molesting and raping other boys. When the investigation began in 1991, three of Daniel's brothers said they had been sexually molested by Father Lavigne.
