Biography
British actor who had a durable career, beginning in 1911, with silent leads. He was a supporting actor in more than seventy films, including "Mutiny on the Bounty," "Wuthering Heights" and "How Green Was My Valley." Crisp also was the assistant director of "Birth of a Nation" and the director of "Son of Zorro" and "Svengali."
