Biography
American policeman and suicide. Coy spent five years of his law enforcement career as an undercover agent. Recruited by the Drug Enforcement Agency in 1990, Coy suffered emotionally because of his work. He hung himself on January 22, 1994. He was 34. The 1999 movie "In Too Deep" starring Omar Epps, Pam Grier, Stanley Tucci, and LL Cool J was in part based on his life. Coy's final mission was the successful toppling of drug kingpin Darryl Whiting.
