Biography
French Wiccan high priest who descended into black masses, orgies and murder.
Jacques Coutela met Nicole in 1970 on the Isle of Man where the Wicca International Witchcraft originated. They lived together and represented the sect in France. He authored "La Lune Noire" and a number of para-psychology books (magik, UFOs, etc...) and from 1986 he wrote pornographic film scripts. Years before, on 1/31/1951, he had married Antonietta Toniolo and they were separated.
He met Dominique Desseaux on the set of a film shooting and adopted her as his daughter ignoring the fact that she had personality disorders and that she had spent a lot of time in psychiatric hospitals.
The Wiccan chapter began conducting black masses which ended up in sexual orgies. Eventually many members left, following a dissident.
On 3/10/1995, Nicole (who had taken the name of "Diane Luciferia") and Dominique appeared on a TV show, "J’y crois, j’y crois pas," hosted by Tina Kiffer on TF1. When they were not allowed to voice their opinions, they furiously stormed off the set.
Their rivalry escalated and on 3/15/1995, Dominique Desseaux murdered Nicole with a shotgun, staging the scene to make it look like a suicide. She then took Nicole's place as high priestess. On 3/23/1995, crazed with grief, Jacques Coutela murdered Dominique Desseaux by hanging her and then, hanging himself, 7:15 PM, near Paris.
(The newspaper Republicain Lorrain (12/28/1996) stated that "Jacques Coutela was found hanged, his daughter Dominique poisoned and the high priestess, Nicole, murdered with a handgun.")
