Biography
American basketball player: guard for the Celtics with whom he won six NBA Championships. He was elected NBA MVP in 1957 and played in the NBA All-Star Game MVP 1954 and '57. From 1969-73, he was head coach of Royals/Kings. Elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1970, he became its president in 1989. In addition to his active playing career, Cousy has been a commentator for broadcasts of Boston Celtics' games since 1974.
