Biography

American actress, daytime TV's superstar who practically grew up on TV. She was on children's shows and by age nine, commercials. By 14 she was a regular on "Edge of Night" and was doing guest shots on prime time. She worked in the soaps, "The Doctors," "The Secret Storm," Love of Life," "Our Five Daughters," 1962 and "Another World," 1964-1975. Courtney was awarded Daytime TV's Best Actress Award in 1974.
