Biography

Brazilian architect and urban planner. Costa won worldwide recognition for his street plan of Brasilia in Brazil.

Due to the profession of his father, admiral Joaquim Ribeiro da Costa, Lucio had a versatile education in different countries.

Lucio Costa worked with great names as Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer. The latter was one of his students and designed buildings for the city of Brasilia.
