Biography
Italian Roman Catholic priest, ordained in 1954, a Bishop in 1977; then Papal Ambassador to the Solomon Islands, Honduras and Nicaragua. From 1990 he has been the apostolic delegate in Jerusalem and Palestine and in Jordan and Israel since 1991. Cordero is also the president of the Federation of the Holy Land and of the Sacred Congregation for the Institutes of Sacred Life.
