Biography

Scottish comedian, best known for his work with Ronnie Barker (b. 9/25/1929) as "The Two Ronnies," 1971-1986. He was known for his long, drawn-out monologues and the diminutive stand-up comic was a favorite on the David Frost Show with his mischievous sense of humor.

Ronnie moved to London in 1951 and appeared in "Crackerjack" prior to "The Frost Report." His star-making vehicle was produced by Frost, "That's Me Over Here," November 1967.

Ronnie was seen in a number of comedy series, including "Sorry," March 1981 to October 1988, "Now Look Here," from 11/15/1971 to January 1973 and its follow-up, "The Prince of Denmark," April 1973.
