Biography

British journalist and editor, author of best-sellers in the pop genre. Formerly a regular contributor to the Observer, she was the first woman editor of the Observer Colour Magazine, and woman's editor of the Daily Mail. Her books include "Lace," which was made into a TV miniseries, and "Superwoman," 1978, which held court for 44 weeks on London's best-seller list.

She lives in London with her two sons.
