Biography

Scottish musician, a platinum blond guitar player in the band "Sweet," popular in the '70s with such hits as "Ballroom Blitz." Rumors surrounded Connolly for a time that he was the illegitimate half-brother of actor Mark McManus. He died in February 1997.
