Biography
French industrialist, the creator and manufacturer of a front wheel drive car, the Citroen. During WW I his company mass-produced munitions and post-war, turned to automobile works. He introduced Henry Ford's assembly line methods to the European auto industry when he established one of the largest factories in France. In 1934, he lost control of his company with bankruptcy.
Citroen died 7/03/1935, Paris.
