Incorporation as a city: Mar. 16, 1911
Incorporation as a city was approved March 16, 1911, effective from and after passage (1911 Nevada Acts, Chapter 133, pp. 145-185). The incorporation was approved by a majority vote and the first city officials were chosen in an election that was held on June 1, 1911 (ibid).
