French swimmer who competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics, in the 1960 Summer Olympics, and in the 1964 Summer Olympics. He was European champion in the 100 m backstroke in 1958 in Budapest. He was part of the French team who won the European championship relay 4 × 100 m freestyle in 1962 in Leipzig, along with Gérard Gropaiz, Jean-Pascal and Alain Curtillet Gottvallès.
