French actor on stage, film and TV. Boyishly handsome, he plays charming but bland leading roles and some comedy. He replaced Sacha Distel when Brigette Bardot left Distel for him in 1959. He became Bardot's second husband on 6/18/1959 for a rocky relationship. Though they had a son, Nicolas, they divorced in 1963.
