Biography
British royalty by marriage, she became the Duchess of Cambridge when she married Prince William, grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and son of Prince Charles.
Kate, as she has been known, is the oldest of three children born to an air pilot and a flight attendant who later opened a mail-order business for party supplies. She met Prince William when they were students at St. Andrews University. They shared a flat with two others and their relationship deepened. At the completion of their studies they moved to London together but the pair split in April 2007. A few months later the romance was back on. They announced their engagement in November 2010, reporting that they had become engaged a month earlier in Kenya. The regal pair married at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29, 2011. The bridge arrived at the Abbey at 11 AM and they were pronounced husband and wife at 11:20 AM local time (observed time).

Marc Penfield reports a birth time of 11:33 PM but when questioned said he had obtained it from another astrologer. The latter astrologer said he saw it on a British website but could not locate the website when questioned about it. This time is therefore considered unreliable until further evidence is shown. Ana Rakovic gave 8:28 PM on AstrologyinSerbia.com website according to Paddy de Jabrun; no source. Rakovic also gave sister Pippa a time of 4:40 AM; again no source. In late November 2011, Pamela Young posted the following on the Astro.com Forum: "Re Kate Middleton's birth time - in the book, "William and Kate: a Royal Love Story," by Christopher Andersen (New York: Gallery Books, 2011) it is stated on page 73:
Although they could not know it at the time, the Middletons took their biggest step toward the top rung of the social ladder on January 9, 1982. That afternoon, Caroline gave birth to blue-eyed Catherine Elizabeth Middleton at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading."
