Biography
Portuguese writer, a journalist, conservative essayist and translator. He began his career writing for newspapers as a music critic, then turned to feature writing. In 1988 he co-founded a weekly paper. In 1991 he left the publication's board to work on a magazine "K" which did not fare well. Two years later the magazine was defunct and he began work on the first of his novels published in 1995, "O Amor é Fodido."
