Biography
Italian military, the son of a general who went into an army career. Educated for the army, he entered the General Staff in 1870 under his dad's command. He became a Captain in 1875 and Commander in 1910, Chief of General Staff 1914, and Commander in Chief of the Italian Armies 1915-1917. In 1923 he was named Marshal of Italy. He wrote two military volumes.
Cadorna died 12/23/1928.
