Biography
British homicide who, as a merchant seaman, had a torrid love affair with Edith Jesse Thompson. On 10/03/1922, with her encouragement, he stabbed her husband to death. They tried to make it look like a robbery-murder, but were both apprehended. Bywaters and Thompson were both convicted, and they both were hanged on 1/09/1923.
