Biography

American news figure married to Jeb Bush, the son of President George Bush. They met when he went to school in Mexico. She and her sister, Lucilla Schmidt, both came from a poor Mexican background but married well.

In June 1999, U.S. Customs fined Bush $4,100 for not declaring $19,000 in jewels and clothing bought in Paris. She apologized for bad judgment and paid the fine.
