Biography

British rock musician, guitarist, violinist and saxophonist with the group Simple Minds. Concentrating on punk, new wave and rock, the band did not hit the commercial big time until May 1985 with the release of "Don't You Forget Me," a chart topper in the U.S. The album "Once Upon A Time" debuted at number one in the U.K. in November 1985.
