German former field hockey player who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics, in the 1956 Summer Olympics, and in the 1960 Summer Olympics.
In addition to his sports career Budinger studied sports science and then worked as a lecturer at the German Sports University in Cologne , where he also earned his doctorate in 1979. In 1975, as head of the newly formed Budinger Trainerakademie Cologne , 1993, retired Professor Budinger. Besides his professional career, he served as head coach, sports manager and most recently as vice president of the German Hockey Association operates. Until 1993, Budinger was a personal member of the NOK (National Olympic Committee for Germany).
