Biography
Scottish politician, the controversial Member of Parliament representing the Labour party for Leith. He was admonished for throwing down the mace in the House of Commons. Brown's personal contact with Colonel Khadafy secured the release of hostages from Libya.
He returned at the General Election on 6/11/1987.
