Biography
French yachtsman, sailed dinghies, optimists, 420s and sports cats. He took part in his first Figaro Solo at 18 years old and participated twice in the Vendée Globe and in ten Figaro single-handed races. In 1981, with Marc Guillemot, he finished first (in class) in the Twostar, the double-handed transatlantic between Plymouth and Newport, on Biscuits Coathalem. In 1986 he won the two-handed Multi-Figaro with Alain Gautier on Optique Beaumont and in August 1999, he took part for the tenth time in the Figaro single-handed race on Guyader.
